whole roasted chicken food/restaurants

I keep hearing about a place where I can get a whole roasted chicken with all the fixins'. Last time I was there I wandered around trying to find the place...where is it. I also want to know more about the crabs. I'll be back in June; will the crabs be out?

Yeah, the crabs start coming out in the beginning of June and really swarm when the rains hit in the middle of the month. The roasted chicken is available in several places but the most consistant is up Calle Ninos Heroes from Revolucion one block at the t-bone intersection of Calle Caracol. Ninos Heroes is the road to Playa Los Muertos. It is usually set up for chicken on Saturday and Sunday.

there are also two places on the North end of town between The Raintree Restaurant and the Salud directly across from each other. I believe they are open every day.

My favorite chicken is the woman that sets up her stand on Calle Marlin up the street and across from Don Pedro's in the first block from the beach. It is very good and very reasonable it comes with a sort of slaw. rice, tortillas and salsa. It is very handy if you are hanging out on the beach as it is all prepared to go.

the place that sells whole roasted chicken has the worst food in Sayulita! i cannot believe that they are still open! frozen rice! yes, frozen rice without flavor! canned salsa! and old chicken! euuuuuu!
