We enjoyed a wonderful beverage but the food was not good at all. We ordered nachos but didn't anticipate that the "cheese" would be tasteless orange goop which drowned everything on the plate. We couldn't eat them. The atmosphere also left a little to be desired as the owner/manager could be overheard barking orders at the staff, and in our opinion, was treating them disrespectfully.

Well, you seem to be on your own with your negative review of Choco Banana.
I have yet to meet a person who agrees with you. They do a remarkable business and the breakfasts are amazing. I agree with your opinion of the cheese but that is no reason for bashing the place.
The charm of the place is the location and social aspect where all kinds of interesting people gather to share stories.
Tracy is Tracy and yes, she does bark at the employees but she really does have a heart of gold. Running a crew is no easy job here in Sayulita. She has her way of keeping them on their toes, maybe not the best, but whatever.
I am sorry you were unhappy there but believe me when I say that many of us eat there almost daily because the food is good, plentiful and reasonably priced. It is hard to find a better Huevos Ranchero and I keep trying on my travels thru Mexico.

I agree, Cocobanana's, or "EVES" as I call it. Has the best coffee. and lots of good stuff. I am just sorry Eve isn't there more now, but know she has worked hard to get that place running and I am glad for her. Tracy, is Tracy. SO just chil out.

What an awesome attitude Traci- to apologize and try to do better with the cheese!!! Most would take offense but you chose the high road. I love your restaurant- and thank god for the high speed internet there and the recycling!
