New Restaurant

Found this new restaurant 2 doors down from the church on the square. It is called the stuffed potato. Pleasantly surprised. A very large potato with choice of shrimp, pork, steak, chicken or vegetables starting at 49 pesos. The dressings were great. The garlic was so creamy. We enjoyed the food and recommend it highly .A great addition to Sayulita . Wish you well.

Oh No!
Seriously? Stuffed potatoes in Sayulita? Is a KFC or Burger King coming next? I'm worried Sayulita is becoming the next Puerto Vallarta.
Say it isn't so!!

Don't worry, it's not a chain. And IMHO it's not very good and won't last through the summer.

We had a wonderful dinner the first opening night...never easy. It's a nice addition to the town and we wish them the best. The food was fresh and very filling and we're return soon.

I'm happy to be in the minority because I never like to see any new venture fail. To answer Resting Guest's question, I had a vegetable and cheese potato with some very bland "mango mayo". Really couldn't taste any mango, or any mayo. My problem is that the potato itself isn't a baking potato, it's just a big thin-skinned spud wrapped in foil. Guess it's just not my idea of a baked potato. Maybe I'll give it another go, since other people seem to like it so much.
