Sayulita Restaurant Food My reviews

I have visited Sayulita several times and have eaten at many of its restaurants. Heres my take

Monchis-Burgers are great, fries need to be hot when served, not cold. Medium price range.

Choco Banana-Need to remove the Nachos from the menu-there bad. Breakfast burritos good, and lattes good. Medium price range.

Senior Iguana-Will I need not say more, they have closed there doors. To many menu options, Could not serve all the items, so the items they did serve was average at best. Sorry guys

Yo Yo Mos-Great atmosphere, bad food. The pizza never seems to come out hot. Its like the bottom is cooked but the toppings are cold. The wings do not taste good, because I think they cook them a little while before you order them, then set them in the frig, and then reheat them in the deep fryer right before serving. Not good. Customers would rather wait 15-20 minutes, get fresh cooked, hot tastefull wings. Maybe get a new fryer, larger fryer. the yo you chips also, better to cook right when served, not prior and the reheated. Good Luck

El Espresso-Great lattes and breakfast is good. Average cost.

Bicyclette-Ok food, over priced and live band nights just to loud and out of control, and not in a good way. Should have stayed closed.

Tropical House-Breakfast should not be complicated and simple to make-yet its not good. The hash browns do not have any taste and are over cooked. Their eggs to order are brought to your table any way but the way you did order. The latte was served warm and the smoothies over priced. Also should have stayed closed. Sorry

Calypso-Their shrimp pasta is awesome. Prices are high, but the food is good. My only complaint, is when you order a Coke, you get about 8 ozs, not even one free refil and I think the price is like 25 pesos.

Don Pedros-All the food is great, but all the food is also way over priced.

Budda Mar-Food ok, all food and beverages way over priced!

Burrito Revolucion-Probably the best shripm burrito I have ever had. All there meat filled burritos, the meat is way over cooked. Average price.

Los Afortunados-Have eaten there 2 times this season. Bad food, bad service, and way over priced. I do not know how this place has stayed open.

La Terrazola-Their Mahi dinner, probably the best in town. I feel this place just needs to bring their prices down a bit, as to get more people in there to try dinner.

Rojo Dragon-Bad food, loud music. Really need to close shop. Sorry

Paninos Bakery-The best latte in town. Their customer service is great. Their danishs are awesome.

Rollies-Their pancakes are good. I think they should change over to hashbrowns instead of the country potaoes, or at least offer them as an option. The thing that I really like about Rollies is when you order your eggs over easy, over medium, etc-thats what you get. Also maybe get some 14 to 16 oz lattes cups. I do feel this is the best breakfast.

Sayulita fish tacos-love the fish tacos, and the the price.

Tacos Ivan-2nd best tacos in town, great atmosphere and great price.

Tacos on the streets-I feel these are the best tacos in town. Great customer service and great price.

El Constano-Love their deep fried red snapper and butter/garlic spread. Like the remodel-but please dont stop- remodel the bathrooms and place toilet seat cover in the ladys bathrooms. Average price

Thanks for this incredibly thorough review and right on too.
We live here part time and have mostly narrowed it down to 2 restaurants:
Don Pedro for a special occasion because we are never disappointed, the food is great, nicely prepared (by a real chef), the wines are also good even the cheaper ones and the service is always excellent. The location and atmosphere are also great, well worth the extra $.
For everyday Mexican food, Anthonia, just below Rollies.
