I wanted to bring some clothes/childrens books to sayulita for donation. Without help this might be a bit challenging.
This time i'm traveling alone and don't know if i can handle 2 suite cases along with my carrying on stuff and my cases will be heavy.
A couple months ago it was posted that there was no one to help us anymore.

Pv Airport Luggage Help Baggage Porter's or carts?

Last time I came back from Texas, in November, I didn't even have to struggle with my excessive luggage.... a very nice young man, a tourist, insisted on helping me. I told him I was NOT a tourist, and he said, "Oh lady, I KNOW that!" White hair may have helped, but there is a sense that we're all in this together at the baggage depot.
Hope this helps, thanks for thinking of the kids.

Hi, They now have carts in the baggage area, but there are only a few, grab one quick as you come off the plane just before you enter baggage area. Last time I was there they were all gone by the time I went back to look. SR
Thanks for your post. We came in today with an unusual amount of bags and boxes, and took your advice (normally we'd just have a backpack), which was super helpful. The carts had signs that said "for porter use only" but when we hovered there for a moment, one of the staff said yes, take it, it's fine. Which it was.
More confusing was the porters with the dollies who tried to insist we transfer to them, and said we couldn't take the cart to the pickup area. Which would have been fine, except we had no cash to pay them. But after we started carrying everything instead, they said no, no, go ahead, keep the cart, it's fine. Again, it was.
If I hadn't read your post, it would have been very confusing. So thanks.
