Are these stores easily seen from the main road as we drive from PV? If not, can someone her provide directions? Greatly appreciated, thanks!

They're both visible from the highway, both on the right-hand side as you head toward Sayulita. Walmart is first, set back a bit, and Mega is right beside the highway. Signage is good and access is easy. You won't have a problem.

Anticipate Walmart when you get caught up in the traffic congestion just before it where the main entrance to Nuevo Vallarta is under bridge construction. Once through the intersection begin watching your right side for a quick exit. As said before, Mega is easier to see as you go about 3-5 miles further ahead on the highway.

By the way you can use debit or credit cards for purchases at both and there are ATM machines in both stores and bank ATMs next to the Mega store. Be careful to look for skimmer/scanners at all ATMs you use in Mexico and cover the key pad when entering your NIP.
